A Day Between the Flowers (Part 1) | Chicago Photography Event
It was a balmy morning that started covered in clouds but ended up with plenty of sunlight - forcing me to get creative to avoid harsh light. But, oh! Chicago Spring delivered. A few days before the photoshoot I was a little worried about not getting enough blooms at the location I selected, but the day of the session I was so happy to see that the apple blossoms had come out and there were plenty of other flowers as well in the community garden.
The kids had so much, I had them running around and doin all sorts of things to give me cute moments to photograph. I think I will probably write a post about my tips and tricks to get them to cooperate later on. And the moms went all out to get their families in beautiful outfits, and everyone was on time allowing me to flow from one family to the next. It was overall a perfect morning.
Thanks so much to all the families that came and made this event a success. It was my first time running these mini sessions for the Spring and I can definitely say that I will be trying it again next year.
Here are some of the images that resulted from that day, there are so many good ones that I will share them in a second post later on. Enjoy!
