Introducing: My Son

He’s here! Long awaited and immensely loved, I am thrilled to introduce my boy Bernie who joined our family in early May.

He has already transformed our lives in the best possible way and we could not be more in love. I am soaking in every moment of the newborn bliss, taking time off from my work, slowing the pace of my life, and focusing on him and his sister for the next few weeks. My heart is full.

He is perfect in every way, and as a mom photographer I am obsessively recording the first days of his life with my camera. It is such a warm feeling to be able to do take these images of my own child, and to revisit time and time again the tiny details and moments of the newborn stage - which I know is so fleeting. And, though I work with babies often, seeing my son now reminds me of how incredible it is to have these little humans that are so perfect in every way. Birth is magical, kids are magical, and I am honored to be able to experience this as a mom for a second time.
